MidsummerRemise Bernstorf Castle

- Am Schloss, 23936 Bernstorf
From 1879 to 1882, the castle was built for the von Bernstorff family in the Dutch Neo-Renaissance style. After 1945, it was used as a military hospital and elementary school, among other things. In 2010, Dr. Wolfgang Röhr acquired the damaged castle and extensively renovated it. Since then, it has been used as a family-run hospice.

The cottages by the swan pond once belonged to the Vorwerk estate just outside the town of Lassan on the Peene River. The history of the estate dates back to the 13th century.

The Renaissance Quilow Castle has been extensively renovated as a monument of national importance. The 16th century manor house has experienced 440 years of agricultural, economic and social change.

MidsummerRemise in the Gevezin manor house

The Gevezin estate is still well preserved in its ensemble and many of these buildings are still in use. The current manor house was designed in 1912 by a Berlin architect for the lord of the manor, Dr. Adolf Baron von Buengner, for whom he had already designed a manor house in nearby Puchow. Today it houses a small guesthouse.

"Sequere astrea - follow the stars!" This motto of the von Klinggräff family adorns the pediment of the entrance portal of the former Renaissance castle from 1698. In 1912, it was completely redesigned in neo-baroque style.

MidsummerRemise at Kultur Gut Karnitz

Kultur Gut Land Karnitz is a place where people from several generations have been living and working together since 1997. All that remains of the former manor house, which belonged to the Lelkendorf estate, is the cellar.

The estate has been owned by the Oldenburg family since the 15th century and J. F. Boldt is named as the owner from 1786. In 2019, the new hostess, Miriam Hager, took over the house and has been running it as a cultural castle and hotel ever since.

Rakow manor house is located near Grimmen. Rakow was first mentioned in 1232 in a document in which Duke Wartislaw III granted the villages of Groß- and Klein-Rakow to Doberan Monastery. Later, part of the village belonged to the knight Ludolf von Schlagsdorf.

From 1879 to 1882, the castle was built for the von Bernstorff family in the Dutch Neo-Renaissance style. After 1945, it was used as a military hospital and elementary school, among other things. In 2010, Dr. Wolfgang Röhr acquired the damaged castle and extensively renovated it. Since then, it has been used as a family-run hospice.

The Gevezin estate is still well preserved in its ensemble and many of these buildings are still in use. The current manor house was designed in 1912 by a Berlin architect for the lord of the manor, Dr. Adolf Baron von Buengner, for whom he had already designed a manor house in nearby Puchow. Today it houses a small guesthouse.

Kultur Gut Land Karnitz is a place where people from several generations have been living and working together since 1997. All that remains of the former manor house, which belonged to the Lelkendorf estate, is the cellar.

The estate has been owned by the Oldenburg family since the 15th century and J. F. Boldt is named as the owner from 1786. In 2019, the new hostess, Miriam Hager, took over the house and has been running it as a cultural castle and hotel ever since.

Rakow manor house is located near Grimmen. Rakow was first mentioned in 1232 in a document in which Duke Wartislaw III granted the villages of Groß- and Klein-Rakow to Doberan Monastery. Later, part of the village belonged to the knight Ludolf von Schlagsdorf.
