Above all, it should be fun: On the Peene and its lakes, it is possible to enjoy nature in a relaxed way without significant currents, locks and differences in altitude. If you look very closely, the water also glistens a little proudly because of its EDEN award ("European Destinations of Excellence"). On the amorously christened "Amazon of the North" you will hardly meet a soul - but you will see sea eagles, kingfishers, herons and beavers.
