The certified accommodation and catering establishments, tourist resorts and adventure partners in the state make vacations together much more enjoyable with certified family quality. The golden crown of vacation king Gustav flashes as a seal of quality at facilities and in places where parents and children are particularly welcome guests.
The quality seal "Familienurlaub MV - Geprüfte Qualität" (Family Vacation MV - Tested Quality ) is only awarded to those providers who have completely adjusted to the wishes and needs of children and parents and can convince a critical jury in the certification process.Among other things, the special advantages of the provider for families, the price-performance ratio, the service in the arrival area, the general child- and family-friendly equipment, play and exercise facilities or safety measures on site are evaluated. The seal is awarded for three years. Afterwards the renewed proof for the family friendliness must be furnished in a further examination. A total of 90 family-friendly providers and locations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern currently meet the strict criteria.
