In this series of exhibitions, paintings and drawings, as well as photographs, stage designs and commercial graphic works by T. Lux Feininger (1910-2011) will be comprehensively presented for the first time as an artistic oeuvre and reflected upon anew as an expression of modern Romanticism. In three exhibitions, which will take place consecutively in Quedlinburg, Erfurt and Ahrenshoop from September 2024 to fall 2025, the art of T. Lux Feininger from all creative phases will be presented for the first time. It will become clear that although the artist repeatedly explored the motifs and themes of his father - Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956) - throughout his life, his work was characterized by a modern and individual adaptation and adaptation of romantic art.
