Journey to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Arrive and be mobile in the Vacation Country

Travel between the Baltic Sea and the Lake District - the ways to get to the vacation destination are diverse, but always already an experience. True to the motto “the journey is the destination”.

Travel Carefree and in Harmony with Nature

Take the train to the Baltic Sea coast, ride the bike to the island of Rügen or hop on the bus to the countryside? Our versatile transport system in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern offers countless possibilities and thus the best conditions for an environmentally friendly and relaxed journey, where you can already collect the first vacation experiences.

If you want to travel in a particularly environment conscious way, you can even reach Mecklenburg-Vorpommern via one of the nine long-distance cycle routes. For fuel-free jaunts, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern already has 200 charging stations that can be used by the public, and car-sharing and rental services for electric cars are being set up.

But many towns and regions are also coming up with ideas to enable their guests to explore the region comfortably and in a climate-friendly way: In addition to buses and trains, cities offer rental bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters. In nature regions, public transportation takes vacationers directly to the most beautiful biking and hiking trails at low cost with guest cards.
