The manor house Mühlen Eichsen dates back to the 19th century.

The Mühlen Eichsen manor house was built in the middle of the 19th century as a manor house in neo-Gothic architecture with lancet windows, which was very typical at that time. From 1945, the manor house served municipal purposes and as a residential building. After 1989 it was partially renovated and then used by the municipality. In March 2006, the Association for the Support of Mentally Ill and Disabled People of Northwest Mecklenburg opened a socio-therapeutic facility here. The manor house is surrounded by a well-kept park.

In 1763, the Hamburg merchant Philipp Heinrich Stenglin had the two-story brick Plüschow Castle built between Wismar and Lübeck. Today the castle is used for many cultural events and invites especially art lovers.

Chick Foundation

The representative classicist building on the south bank of the Pfaffenteich was built at the end of the 1860s. Composer Friedrich-Wilhelm Kücken established the foundation that gave the building its name, which supported destitute musicians until 1939.
