Experience history: Our old manor house and the idyllic park enchant from the very first moment. In summer, we host events with guided tours of the house, our courtyard café in the park and trade fairs. The house is currently being converted into a wedding venue, with vacation apartments to follow - a place for special experiences.
Herrenhaus Schönhof, a charming, historic manor house just outside Schwerin, captivates with its unique character and the natural beauty of the surrounding park. Although the building is still unrenovated, it captivates visitors with its unmistakable charm. From the very first moment, you can feel the special atmosphere of this place, which is characterized by history, tranquillity and inspiration.
In the summer months, Schönhof Manor comes to life: Our lovingly run farm café invites you to linger in the shade of the old trees. Here we serve home-made delicacies that are regionally inspired and prepared with love. At the same time, numerous events take place in the manor house and on the grounds - from exciting guided tours through the building, which give an insight into the eventful history of the house, to markets, trade fairs and cultural events.
One highlight is our wedding location: although the house is still under construction, you can already take advantage of the special backdrop for your dream wedding. The extensive park, the historical flair and the individual service create the perfect setting for unforgettable moments.
In the future, Schönhof Manor will also offer high-quality vacation apartments. Guests will then be able to enjoy the tranquillity of the park, the proximity to the State capital Schwerin and the services of our café to the full. With a great deal of commitment and passion, we are creating a place where history and the future merge and which offers space for relaxation, celebrations and inspiration.
