Here at Mühlenhof Altkalen, we regularly grind grain with wind power, just like in grandfather's day. Genuine wind milled flour from organic rye, organic wheat and organic spelt. However, there is one thing we have ahead of our windmillers' ancestors: Our forefathers did not yet have an "eco-certificate".
We bake bread and cakes in the open-air oven. And if you want to take a part of the idyll home with you, the farm store offers some products around the mill. The wholemeal flour is available in rye, wheat and spelt.
