The Lüssow manor house (near Güstrow) was built at the end of the 18th century. In the following decades, it changed hands several times and was frequently rebuilt. It is currently being renovated.
The house was built by the von Driberg family, whose male line died out in the 19th century. It later came into the hands of the von Bülow family. In the 19th century, the building was given a massive clinker brick façade. A contemporary extension was also added. Numerous historical details have been preserved to this day. The house is one of the smaller manor houses in Mecklenburg. It was inhabited almost continuously and was therefore not as threatened by decay as other houses.
