Experience interesting and entertaining events at the Kulturhaus Teterow.

With the reopening of the Kulturhaus Teterow , the town has gained a traditional venue. The historic building was opened as early as 1881 as a restaurant on what was then Wilhelmsplatz, and later a hotel was added. In 1893, the "salon building" was added - of considerable dimensions for the time. Particular emphasis was placed on good acoustics, as from then on "the full effect of musical and theatrical performances was to be brought to bear". At the beginning of the 20th century, the then owner August Scharf advertised "Teterow's largest entertainment hall with a parquet floor". Even back then, there were lavish parties and performances. Today, the Kulturhaus can be hired as an event location.
