When the Adonia Juniors get going, it's hard to sit still. This year also in the middle of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, at the Kulturhaus in Teterow.
"Jesus is coming to our town!" This news spreads like wildfire and reaches the four friends of a paralyzed man. They agree: Jesus can help their friend! Without further ado, they carry him to Jesus. But then the bitter setback: the house is completely overcrowded and there is simply no way through the crowds. Should they give up so close to their destination? Determined, they forge a bold plan. A gripping musical about true friendship, trust and courage.
70 minutes of a wonderful musical experience for the whole family
The Adonia choirs are project choirs. The singers meet for a "musical camp". There they rehearse the concert program in the short time of just five days under the supervision of trained staff. The young talents have already received sheet music and a pre-produced CD for practicing in advance. Two performances at the end of the week form the highlight.
Adonia e.V. is a non-profit organization based in Karlsruhe. A full-time team coordinates the musical camps and recruits and trains the 1,000 volunteers who run the camps. Adonia is an independent organization that works together with regional and free churches. The work is financed by participant contributions, donations and the collections at the concerts.
