Fair weather offers, holidays in the countryside

The fishing club is in charge of the lower Recknitz, a natural fishing area, where you can go stalking from land and from the boat on the scale carriers from A as eel to Z as zander. With us you can acquire the tourist fishing license MV as well as the fishing license for the waters of the LAV-MV and coastal waters MV all year round.

Locals and guests can also take the exam for the fishing license for life with us during a fishing license course.

Our association was founded in 1927. We are a registered non-profit association and since 01.01.2002 a district member of the Landesanglerverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Verband Deutscher Angelfischerverbandes (DASV).

As of 31.12.2020 in our club 264 members, including 25 girls and women. The average age as of 31.12.2020 was 46 years.

Our association is open to all citizens who are interested in fishing as a leisure activity and who are attached to the protection of nature, the environment and the countryside. Our goal is to further develop and promote the most intrinsic interest of an angler, to catch fish, as a meaningful leisure activity, taking into account and respecting the concerns of nature and environmental protection and landscape conservation.

With the public harbor and angler festivals, which have been held annually since 2002, we offer a special event beyond our fishing friends to the residents and guests of our city and are pleased with the positive and great response.
