Clear lakes, hilly landscapes with meadows or beech forests, animals that have become rare such as osprey and kingfisher teach you to marvel at God's creation.
The starting point is the town of Friedland in the district of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. From there, the trail leads south to Neubrandenburg, on a western or eastern route around Lake Tollense, and ends in Mirow south of the Müritz. The stages are each about 13 to 20 kilometers long. Pilgrims can stay overnight in simple parsonages or private accommodations along the route.
