On the Mecklenburg Lake District Pilgrimage Trail you can enjoy nature, get out of familiar everyday paths and gain new experiences. The unique density of old churches allows for contemplation, reflection and prayer in most villages. Clear lakes, hilly landscapes with meadows or beech forests, animals that have become rare such as osprey and kingfisher teach you to marvel at God's creation.

Pilgrims can stay overnight in simple parsonages or private accommodations along the route.
