Orchestra heroes with festival prizewinner Noa Wildschut
Anniversaries are being celebrated everywhere. The junge norddeutsche philharmonie has also been around for 15 years now! The orchestra has invited festival prizewinner Noa Wildschut as a soloist for the two anniversary concerts at the MV Festival.
jnp was founded in 2010, when three nineteen-year-olds came together in Niendorf on the island of Poel, who were slowly outgrowing the age limit for the state youth orchestra, but didn't want to stop playing fresh, energetic concerts with friends and allies. So, without further ado, they founded their own orchestra: the jnp and invented their own structure for it. The junge norddeutsche philharmonie was created as a network of young musicians who manage themselves, come together for projects in the summer and present their concerts after a rehearsal phase. And they do this anew every year, including at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, which even sends festival prizewinners to the jnp as soloists and is their constant partner.
