Cape Town singer and composer Ike Moriz is known for his now 20 album releases and his ability to seamlessly switch between musical genres. This summer he presents his "Skulls & Stars Tour 2025".
Ike is without a doubt one of the best singers in South Africa. He studied music in Cape Town, Rotterdam and Dresden, has already toured in 20 countries and was last in Germany on his sold-out "Blitz Tour 2024".
The singer and actor will be accompanied by the talented Hamburg saxophonist Kurt Buschmann, with whom he has performed as the "Ike Moriz Duo" on his numerous tours for the past 10 years.
Together they have selected songs from popular genres such as swing, blues and pop to create an unforgettable program. These include hits such as "Sway" by Dean Martin, "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Life on Mars" by David Bowie as well as "Love Swings" and "To Cape Town" by Ike himself. Every year Ike introduces new songs and arrangements and keeps his always enthusiastic audience spellbound - this year with the brand new song Skulls & Stars.
