Fresh Fish Suppliers, Restaurants, Farm Shops, Fish Restaurant, Holiday flats, family-friendly, cyclist-friendly

Mecklenburg's first hereditary fish farm has been offering fish for four generations. In addition to the cozy restaurant "Zum Fischer Fritz" you can buy fresh and smoked fish in the farm store or spend the night in the vacation apartment....

The "Old" Fischerhof and the extensive grounds of the restaurant are separated by the leisurely flowing Ostpeene. However, both are connected by a very beautiful wooden bridge. Very many of our guests linger on the bridge. With the quiet murmur of the water, which ripples over the adjacent fish ladder, you can let your soul dangle for a moment. Our restaurant offers space for 85 guests, in a cozy, maritime ambience. The rustically furnished dining room immediately conveys the flair of a fishery through the attached fishing utensils such as fish traps, cheese traps and nets. Come and visit us

Ivenack Castle

  • Am Schloss, 17153 Ivenack

The older, middle part of the castle dates back to the 16th century - the monastery building. A first extension took place in 1709 and after passing to the Imperial Counts v. Plessen around 1750. The semicircular stables, the orangery, the tea house and the church also date from this period. Around 1810, the castle was again extended by two wings. Since 2016, it has been renovated in accordance with the preservation order. The 1000-year-old Ivenack oaks in the former animal park are Germany's first national natural monument.
