Horse riding, Holiday flats, Equestrian farms, family-friendly, holidays in the countryside

On our family-run farm we welcome all riders and of course non-riders who want to spend their vacation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a rural idyll!

For a relaxing stay we have fully furnished apartments and for a short trip also nice double and twin rooms. We will gladly organize your transfer to and from the train station.

In addition to breeding the pied Lewitzer ponies, which are very popular with children, our main focus is on horseback riding for beginners and children as well as team driving. We drive one-, two- and four-in-hand. You can also sit back and relax on a carriage and charabanc ride and enjoy the summer green or golden fields, or take up the reins yourself under expert guidance and "catch the driving virus" during a taster and introductory course. Previous experience for this course is not required. In the fall and winter months, a large barn with a table tennis table, for example, invites you to spend active hours. Our cozy barbecue hut lets even a stormy autumn evening end in a relaxed way with a rustic atmosphere. Big and small will have a lot of fun with our other farm animals, 3 cats, 3 dogs, 3 alpacas, rabbits, poultry of all kinds and very many bees.

Alpaca wool, honey from our own beekeeping, eggs from free-range chickens, rabbits, as well as free-range poultry and early potatoes are among our farm products. If you like, you can try your hand at the spinning wheel and maybe even take home your own ball of alpaca wool.

On our pony farm there is a riding arena with wooden fencing and three jumps with an area of 20 x 40 m (sand). The riding and driving routes in the surroundings of our farm and lead over the adjacent dirt roads and asphalted roads. The cross-country routes last from 1 to 4 hours. For guest horses we have 3 different sized boxes with straw (with shavings on request) for 9 € per day. For feed there are oats and hay and self-watering. On request, the guest horse open stable can also be used. The 3 hectare guest horse pasture can be used for 5 € per day.

The lessons for driving, from the taster course to the small driving badge, and the lungeing lessons are carried out by trainers C-driving (FN) and riding guides. There are 7 school ponies from 135 to 159 cm, in driving 2 A-dressage, in riding 4 E-ready and stand race-tested available. The following services are offered:

  • Lungeing lesson - lungeing for beginners (30 min) or seat training 15 €.
  • Riding - price depends on duration and number of participants, e.g. 3 days taster course for 2 persons 140 € per person
  • Correction of horses - on request
