The "Mecklenburger Hof" is located near the St. Marien church in the city center of Parchim. Since 01.05.2010 it is family run by us, the married couple Stephanie and Maik Wolpert. Our seven single and double rooms (with shower/bath, WC and cable TV, some with W-LAN) are comfortably and modernly furnished. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. On the first floor we serve breakfast in our breakfast room.
In the courtyard is the cozy beer garden and a lawn to relax. Our parking lot (locked at night) is directly across the street. Mooring with your own boat is also possible free of charge. Since August 2010 we are allowed to display the badge "Bett & Bike" of the ADFC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club).
Our property is located directly on an arm of the river Elde and thus has a connection to the Müritz-Elde waterway. It is only one or two minutes to the pedestrian zone (with restaurants, cafes and bistros). The train station is about 500 meters away. On foot you can reach the local bathing lake in about 15 minutes. Not only as a starting point for ventures into the distance, but also with its own charms such as the Wockersee as a bathing lake and the historic old town Parchim is in no way inferior to the usual resorts of this region. For lovers of peace and birds, the adjacent Lewitz is the ideal place. The Mecklenburgische Landestheater Parchim or our cinema provide entertainment even in bad weather.
