The tumuli "Woorker Berge" belong to a large burial necropolis located between Patzig and Woorke.
The well-preserved, very imposing burial group consisting of a total of 13 mounds, some of which are still 6 m high, is located between Patzig and Woorke. This burial necropolis most likely dates back to the older Bronze Age, when it was typical in this region to lay out tree coffin burials under a mound. For this purpose, oak trees were split lengthwise and hollowed out so that the corpse and the grave goods had room in the cavity. The coffin was placed on a stone pack and completely mounded over. The mound itself was usually still provided with a stone wreath and a rolling stone packing, which covered the entire mound grave. However, little of this can be seen today.
