Rügen's most popular family destination attracts with a large farmers' market, colorful show manufactures and more than 50 exciting experiences.
A colorful mix of experiences, shopping pleasures and culinary delights invites you to visit Karl's adventure village in Zirkow. Stroll through Germany's largest farmers' market, which not only boasts a huge strawberry patch and lots of creative and sustainable products, but also shows how they are made. Tempting jams are made in glass factories, delicious chocolates are poured or breads are baked in the traditional way. While the older ones can enjoy a delicious breakfast, asparagus dinner or strawberry cake in Karl's farm kitchen, depending on the time of day and the season, the younger ones can look forward to pure variety in the adventure village. Outside the barn door, more than 50 attractions and rides, including a spectacular strawberry caterpillar ride, Karl's unique tubby slide, an accessible wheelie carousel, breezy bouncy cushions, a pancake slingshot, a children's farm and a tractor ride, will keep faces grinning.
Karl's Adventure Village in Zirkow is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (until 8 p.m. in July and August). Admission is free.
