This tradition-rich inn is located in the heart of the old part of the town, has 6 comfortable hotel rooms and a restaurant. The cosy public room is known for its delicious cuisine and is open every day. The inn also boasts a quaint beer garden.
The history of our inn as a hotel with a public parlour and dining room began over 160 years ago. And arguably the most well-known guest of his time was no lesser a figure than the regional poet and author Fritz Reuter. The Theiner family has been running the inn for almost 50 years now.
Regional, seasonal, delicious: We offer you an extensive range of dishes, selected wines and draught beers served fresh from the tap all year round. Our little beer garden is very popular when the weather gets warmer. In the summer months in particular, the romantic atmosphere of the old part of the
town with its historical buildings and narrow alleyways entices you to take a break from everyday life and enjoy a little relaxation.

Hotel
All of the rooms feature a shower and WC, telephone, flat-screen TV, radio, safe, mini-bar, hairdryer and desk. A sign by the entrance of this listed half-timbered house tells you that Fritz Reuter would stop by here for a drink or bite to eat. The walls are decorated with pictures of Fritz Reuter, a town plan of Schwerin from 1890 and graphic works by Werner Schinko.
