The listed manor Streu is located in the west of the Island of Rügen and was built in the 18th century in the style of classicism. It is located in the middle of a spacious park with old trees. The thatched manor house cottage on the estate is available for vacation guests.
In the forest area around the Erst-Moritz-Arndt-Turm, young and old can enjoy sport, fun and nature in the Rugard Adventure World - tobogganing at any time of year, slides, go-karting, minigolf, trampoline, nature trail, open-air stage, legendary places and monuments as well as a hotel with restaurant - all this in a geographically and biologically very interesting forest area.
The Rugard is located in the heart of Rügen and is now a recreation and adventure park with the lookout point. On the southern slope of the 90-meter-high Rugard, Prince Jaromar I had the construction of a church begun around 1180, the model for which was the Lübeck Cathedral - the Marienkirche zu Bergen.
Hang loose awaits you in Suhrendorf. With a kite and windsurf school, stores and camping site, everything is there. There's even a casual surf hostel right behind the beach. And the beach bar with a view of the sunset over the island of Hiddensee puts the icing on the cake. With southwest to north winds, you get your money's worth here.
The building was built in 1884 by the fishermen of the then fish trap community "Groot Partie" and was ceremoniously opened in 2016 after 10 months of renovation.
