Pension Haide-Hof is located on the west side of the island of Ummanz, which is the "little sister" of the Island of Rügen. Ummanz belongs to the National Park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft and offers "pure nature"!
The pension offers single and double rooms with shower/WC and satellite TV. In the double rooms extra beds are possible. The offer also includes 2-room apartments. These are equipped with a mini kitchen, shower/WC and satellite TV. Extra beds are also possible here.
Recreational facilities and special features:
- The bathing facilities are particularly suitable for children due to the shallow water.
- The Bodden waters offer ideal conditions for surfing and kiting. The surf school is about 1 km away.
- Around Ummanz there are ideal opportunities for fishing. There are also regular fishing trips on the Baltic Sea.
- Horse farms in the neighborhood offer horseback rides and carriage rides.
- Ummanz is a resting place of migrating wild geese and cranes in spring and autumn. Do not miss this natural spectacle!
- As a preciousness there is an Antwerp carved altar in the village church St. Marien, which was made around 1520.
- The sights of the Island of Rügen are within easy reach; for example the miniature park with petting zoo in Gingst, the Störtebeker Festival, the chalk coast, Cape Arkona, the flint fields and the Baltic Sea.
- Motorcycle tours: take pleasure in motorcycling, in looking closely and experiencing. The tours are under the motto "experience the country and its people", i.e. find the most beautiful routes in unique landscapes.
