Historical Buildings, Castles and Manors, Holiday flats

A castle in the Müritz region for weddings, dreamlike celebrations and stylish country vacations. 13 individual vacation apartments as well as public lounges form a backdrop like from another time.

One of the most beautiful castles in Mecklenburg is awakening from its "slumber"! Only a few kilometers south of the Müritz in the Müritz National Park village of Retzow lies the castle of the same name.
Built around 1800 in pure classicist style, it is the ideal place for a grand wedding in the countryside, as it used to be celebrated in grand style. The castle has been faithfully restored to its original state. No compromises as for a hotel business, but the castle in all its generosity belongs to its temporalCastle Lords.

The center is the Belle Etage with the large hall for 120 guests with its transition to the terrace and into the English castle park with its ancient tree giants. To the left and right of the hall are the green and red salons. The English gentleman's room with the bar and the large fireplace room or hunting room complete the ensemble of the Belle Etage. The setting is dreamlike and also suitable for events, meetings or receptions. Thirteen dreamlike, individually furnished vacation apartments with bathrooms and kitchens have been freshly renovated and offer a total of about 43 beds. They can be booked individually for vacations or as a complete package á la "Rent a Castle".
