The 36,000-hectare Feldberg Lake District Nature Park is located in the south-eastern part of the Mecklenburg Lake District between the towns of Fürstenberg, Woldegk and Neustrelitz. In addition to numerous lakes and kettle bogs, with a bit of luck you can admire sea eagles, ospreys and beavers here.
The Waldhotel Stieglitzenkrug with its 53 beds is located in a quiet forest location on the outskirts of Feldberg, above the Haussee lake. It is the starting point for various Nordic walking and hiking tours. Our kitchen offers home-style cooking as well as Mecklenburg specialties.

The present church dates back to 1758 and is made of cut rocks. 1.60 m thick is the so-called cyclopean masonry. The special feature of this church is its ground plan as a regular octagon with an inner diameter of 10.25 m.
