Guided window tours in the monastery church
A new offer would like to put a special art treasure of Malchow in the "right light" in the truest sense of the word: the valuable stained glass windows of the monastery church. They were installed in 1889/90 and come from the Tyrolean glassworks Kathedral-Hütte Neuhauser und Comp. in Innsbruck and depict twelve apostles.
The colored windows in the choir and both aisles of the monastery church have a special effect on the whole room. Their colorfulness shines especially in the morning hours. That is why this year, for the first time, there will be guided tours at 8 a.m., during which individual windows and the people depicted will be explained. Organ music captures the special atmosphere of the room. The morning ends with a coffee together in the monastery café.
Dates: May 14, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17, each at 8:00 a.m.
