Classical music and jazz on a grand piano A very special kind of piano concert
The brothers Daniel and Manuel Seng combine classical music and jazz in a completely new way. Daniel Seng, a classical concert pianist from Berlin, plays selected works by his two favorite composers Schubert and Chopin. Manuel Seng, jazz pianist from Mainz, seamlessly combines these works with jazz improvisations - the brothers hand over the piano to each other, so to speak.
He has come up with something special for this program: In addition to free improvisations and also his own compositions, guests from the audience can call out their favorite jazz standard, which will then be improvised on during the program.
Well-known four-handed works by Brahms and Piazolla as well as the brothers' entertaining moderation round off the program.
