Anita Farkas (flute) and Bence Hartl (guitar)
The Müritz Guitar Festival is taking place for the 6th time this year. Born from the idea of guitarist Bence Hartl to bring an outstanding guitar soloist to the music school for a concert and a master class, the program has become more and more extensive over the years and has attracted more and more visitors.
The musicians at this festival have Hungarian, Israeli and Armenian roots.
The opening concert will be performed by the "Duo all'ungherese".
The "Duo all'ungherese" is a chamber music duo with Anita Farkas (flute) and Bence Hartl (guitar). Both are of Hungarian origin. This means that all of the evening's compositions will be played and interpreted quasi "all'ungherese" (in Hungarian style). The duo's program includes works from the romantic and post-romantic periods. The concert in the ENGEL courtyard at the former synagogue in Röbel will focus primarily on works by Jewish composers, including Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Giacomo Mayerbeer, Fritz Kreisler and George Gershwin.
Anita Farkas is one of the outstanding flautists of her generation. The multi-award-winning musician plays with enormous virtuosity and tonal variety. She has been principal flute with the Neubrandenburg Army Music Corps since 2022.
Guitarist Bence Hartl is also active as a composer and arranger, and his pieces have been performed and awarded worldwide by renowned artists and ensembles. He also teaches classical guitar, chamber music and music theory.
