Overview of local mushrooms and advice on your own mushroom finds in the foyer of the Müritzeum
Everyone knows the situation in the forest: you discover a mushroom and don't quite know what it is. Edible? Poisonous? Is it even a protected species? - In our little mushroom show, we show you what you can find in the forest around Müritz. Manfred Böttcher, mushroom expert for the Mecklenburg Lake District and his knowledgeable colleague, will be on hand to answer all your questions as a mushroom expert and will be happy to identify any mushrooms you bring along. But please bring your mushrooms with hat, stump and stem.
Free admission to the mushroom consultation
If the weather does not allow mushrooms to grow, the mushroom show will be canceled. A mushroom consultation will then be offered on one of the two days. Please check the Müritzeum homepage in good time.
