Stralsund Zoo invites you to the Long Zoo Night: an evening full of animal experiences - Once a year, Stralsund Zoo opens its doors for a very special event: the Long Zoo Night. This coming Saturday, visitors will have the rare opportunity to experience the zoo in a unique evening atmosphere and watch the animals perform their nocturnal rituals. The event starts at 16:00 with one of the highlights of the season - the popular animal show. The show animals, well prepared for the end of the season, will demonstrate their skills in an impressive performance. After the show, zoo farmer Dörthe and her assistant will take visitors back to times gone by. The donkey is loaded in front of the Ackerbürgerhaus and the guests encounter various historical tools. Together, the group moves to the Mahnke mill in the Pomeranian idyll of Stralsund Zoo, where the zoo's pets are presented on the meadow. Another highlight of the evening is the decision between two fascinating feeding sessions: Will visitors opt for the wolves or the lions? Both animal species display particularly impressive behavior in the evening hours, which is worth marveling at. At the end of the evening, guests gather around a warming campfire on the festival meadow. There they can not only enjoy stick bread and hearty bratwurst, but also talk to the zookeepers and share their experiences of the evening. The Long Zoo Night at Stralsund Zoo promises an unforgettable experience for the whole family. An evening where the animals take center stage and visitors can discover a whole new side to the zoo.
