Photo exhibition by Amelie Riedesel Can be viewed as part of public events: www-dorfhaus-kasnevitz.de August marked the tenth anniversary of the genocide of the so-called "Islamic State" against the Yazidis. Thousands of Yazidis were systematically killed, enslaved and displaced. Since then, the religious minority has been struggling with the consequences of terror.
In 2019, Amelie Riedesel traveled to Iraq for the first time with Our Bridge e.V. For the film Bêmal - Homeless, she took over the second camera, accompanied the editing and documented the project photographically. Her photographs are exhibited at film screenings, including at Fotografiska Berlin.
