With we᾽re doing alien᾽s milk aren᾽t we, the Kunstverein für Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Schwerin is presenting the first institutional solo exhibition of British artist Emily Jones in Germany. In her artistic practice, Jones deals with questions of individual and collective responsibility - in relation to ecological, social and economic issues. A central component of the exhibition is the cooperation with the StarterClub of the Mecklenburg-Schwerin State Theatre and the Schwerin Child Protection Association. Together with the artist, performative formats have been and will be developed to activate the exhibition as a space for learning and learning. The first performance of the StarterClub - under the direction of theater educator Tina Koball - will take place as part of the exhibition opening on June 20, 2025 at 7:00 pm. This will be followed by a premiere party with BBQ in the Kunstverein garden.
