Venue of the Vorpommersche Landesbühne

Since 1992, the Vorpommersche Landesbühne Anklam has pitched the Red Tent annually during the summer season. It is located directly on the beach promenade.Theater in a tent - unusual and charming at the same time - especially since this tent was designed specifically for theatrical performances. The interior lined with red velvety fabric. The glass of water, wine, champagne or beer on the small cocktail table in front of you - this is the way to enjoy the classics of world literature and modernity, contemporary authors, comedies, farces and cabaret. Most of the time it is cheerful on the stage. The morning always belongs to children and special plays for them. The ensemble of the Vorpommersche Landesbühne Anklam and Eleven of the Theaterakademie Vorpommern play.

The theater tent Chapeau Rouge is now a cult for islanders and guests of the Island of Usedom. In winter, an artificial ice rink is built on the square.
