Surf spots

Just a few kilometers west of Wismar, you'll find a shallow water spot for northwest to northeast winds in Zierow. And there is even a camping site here. Please pay attention to the designated surf zone.

The village of Zierow is located only a few kilometers west of Wismar and can be reached quickly from there. On the approximately two-kilometer-long stretch of coastline at Eggers Wiek is a campground that offers you various accommodations for every taste. In addition, you will find various dining and leisure facilities on site. Due to the good infrastructure and the beautiful beach, the spot is especially family-friendly. Due to nature protection regulations, the actually very extensive shallow water area is limited to a smaller designated area. The spot is suitable for wind directions from NW to NE.

Facilities:

  • Toilets, shower
  • Parking facilities < 500 m away, subject to fees

Detailed information about the spot Zierow can be found on the linked website of www.surflocal.de. There you can also find 3D panorama photos of the spot, get in touch with the locals or arrange to surf together with friends.
