The Schaalsee-Camp is located between the Schaalsee and the Salemer See. Campfire sites, covered wagons and teepees to spend the night make the charm of this place (no permanent campers). Guests in caravans, mobile homes or tents are of course welcome. From the canoe or bicycle you can explore the slightly hilly landscape.
In addition to canoe rental at our rental stations in Bad Oldesloe and at the Schaalsee camp, the KANU-CENTER offers an extensive range of services: Transport service for canoes, return transport of persons, combined tours with canoe and bicycle or boat, complete offers for your event with catering service, archery and other actions. The classic canoe is a watercraft that can be easily handled by almost anyone. Absolute safety is offered by large canoes, which can accommodate up to nine people. Our Schaalsee-Camp with a giant kite, fireplaces and covered wagons offers the right ambience for your event. Of course you are also welcome there as a camping guest with tent or caravan or mobile home.
Let yourself be fascinated by the nature experience "canoe hiking". Unique experiences await you in the Trave Valley, on the Wakenitz and on the waters of the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park. The different characters of the waters make the paddling area so attractive: The Trave and the Alster as flowing waters, the Wakenitz, affectionately called the "Amazon of the North" by the people of Lübeck, and the chain of lakes south of Ratzeburg, connected by the romantic Schaalsee Canal and the Möllner Lakes. The routes can be taken in sections as a day trip or as part of a tour lasting several days.
