It beeps, flashes, rattles and wobbles - the great era of slot machines comes back to life at the Flippermuseum Schwerin. Immerse yourself in the world of pinball machines, video game machines and jukeboxes from different decades.

From Indiana Jones to the Addams Family to Star Trek: over 100 fascinating pinball machines, video game machines and jukeboxes from various decades, starting with the 1930s, can not only be admired in the pinball museum, but also played. There is also extensive information on the history, art and technology of the machines. Brand new in the program: the "Foo-Fighters" pinball machine from the manufacturer Stern Pinball. Incidentally, there is a free guided tour of the museum every first Sunday.

Appointments for group events are also possible by arrangement outside regular opening hours.

Wiligrad Castle

Grand ducal office building

The monumental administration building is located to the northwest of the old town, directly on the Pfaffenteich lake. The building was erected when the Grand Ducal administration moved from Ludwigslust to Schwerin between 1842 and 1845.

Old artillery barracks

Greenhouse Garden and Alexandrine Monument

In the style of English landscape gardens stand Grünhausgarten and the southern palace garden with hippodrome, maze and youth temple. This part of the palace garden was restored to its former glory for the Federal Garden Show 2009. Grand ducal stable for sick horses

The former Grand Ducal Stables were built around 1850 as a separate utility building from the Marstall opposite, which was completed in 1842. In addition to the care areas for the horses, the building also housed apartments for the vets and animal keepers. With its simple, late classicist façade, it adjoins the stable building.
