The Ostseeklinik Königshörn offers the chance to leave everyday life behind and think about yourself. The house is a specialized clinic for prevention and rehabilitation for mothers with their children. (Mother and child cure) The facility has a care contract according to § 111a SGB V and can be occupied by all statutory health insurance companies. Children from the age of 1 to 14 are admitted.

The area monument Kap Arkona is one of the most popular excursion destinations on Rügen. In addition to the 45 metre high cliff, the cape is home to a whole range of sights: The castle wall of Jaromarsburg Castle is located directly at the top of the Cape. The glass dome of the restored sighting tower glistens next to it. The Schinkel tower, the large lighthouse and the bearing tower can be visited.
After you have worked your way through the typical Baltic Sea shorebreak in Juliusruh, beautiful waves will put a big smile on your face. With sideshore from the northeast and southeast, you surf parallel to the kilometer-long sandy beach.
With northeast to south winds, beginners will find smooth water, a wide standing area and a meadow for relaxed set-up. Since the spot is only very small and therefore quickly overcrowded, inquire beforehand at the local surf school about the conditions.

The spot is recommended for southwest to north winds. You can take courses and rent equipment at the wind and kitesurfing schools. Because of the sheltered location on the Wieker Bodden, the water is as smooth as iron.
