On the banks of the Recknitz we have an attractive tourism offer ready for you in Bad Sülze. After a good and rich breakfast you start directly from here and explore, well supplied with one of the catering packages available with us, the unspoiled nature of the Recknitz valley on foot, by canoe or by bike!

The small spa town of Bad Sülze is located about 35 kilometers east of Rostock on the North German Way of St. James. Flowed through by rich, underground brine springs and surrounded by the river valley moors of the Recknitz lowlands, the town not only gets its name, but above all its significance as the oldest brine and moor bath in northern Germany. In 1758, during the first heyday of the Sülz salt trade, the Dutch windmill was erected, at the foot of which the Mühlenstein guesthouse is located, which delights with its location on the banks of the Recknitz. From here you can discover the picturesque landscape of the glacial valley of the Recknitz. Spend relaxing days in untouched nature with its species-rich flora and fauna and let yourself be inspired! You will also take home unforgettable moments during a visit to the bird park Marlow or a swimming trip to the Baltic Sea. Rostock, Ribnitz - Damgarten and Stralsund are beautiful cities with rich cultural offerings and tourist attractions.

Guesthouse Mühlenstein - vacation apartments & guest rooms
Just be where the beaver lives! The two vacation apartments, located on the second floor, are ideal for families and small groups (four or five persons). The eight spacious, comfortable double rooms are spread over two floors. All double rooms have a small terrace, some rooms can be connected by a double door to a larger accommodation if desired.

Canoe rental for house guests

House guests can rent a canoe and take tours through the charming reed and moor landscape of the Recknitz. Whether you want to navigate the renaturalized section of the Recknitz or whether you are drawn further in the direction of the Bodden coast, in any case JAM GmbH will advise you and support your project with the best possibilities. Who knows, you might even get to see one of the beavers that live here ...
