Former summer residence of the Mecklenburg princes and dukes

The Prinzenpalais was built in 1821 on behalf of the Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg by the important spa architect C.Th.Severin as a summer residence. Its structure has survived all centuries and today the Prinzenpalais, opened in 2009 as a four-star hotel, presents itself in historical splendor with precious furniture, sparkling chandeliers and an elegant "Orangerie" restaurant. The hotel has 30 stylish rooms, two function rooms, a Prinzenbar with fireplace, a sun terrace and a small wellness area with a Finnish sauna.
