The children's and youth sailing yacht "Greif von Ueckermünde" is a two-master to touch and participate in. Whether navigating, anchoring or setting sails - all hands are needed. Day or multi-day trips! Get in touch and plan your sailing experience together with us!

The children and youth sailing yacht "Greif von Ueckermünde" was put into service at the beginning of the 60s as a pioneer sailing ship "Always Ready" and has been available for maritime children and youth work ever since. "Always ready" was the greeting of the pioneers, which always followed "Be ready". Since 1993, the two-master has been part of the Center for Experiential Education and Environmental Education in Ueckermünde, where its home port is also located.

From May to October, the youth sailing yacht sails with numerous groups from all over Germany on the Stettiner Haff, the Bodden waters and the Baltic Sea. Whether setting sails or navigating, scrubbing the deck or steering, the crew is allowed and encouraged to help out with everything, because the goal is to find the way back to the home port on the last day of a voyage. The crew will be instructed by two volunteer skippers in all the interrelationships and procedures on board.
Where the trip goes is determined by the skills of the crew, the length of the trip and of course the wind / or weather, because the engine should be used as little as possible.
Whether a port is approached at night, or anchored in a sheltered body of water and bathed, much is possible...
