Fennhof - equestrian farm with trail riding and cycling station

With the Fennhof in the extreme northeast of Germany experience the adventure riding very closely and intensively, © Fennhof/ Hafermalz
Horse riding, Equestrian farms, family-friendly, holidays in the countryside

In the far northeast, our family-run equestrian farm with trail riding and cycling station welcomes you and your horse.

Welcome to the Fennhof, a family-run equestrian farm with trail riding and cycling station, in Ludwigshof. Here the horses are lovingly, professionally cared for and relax in open stables. Those who wish can move into an unusual guest car right next to the horses, pitch their tent or spend the night in the nearby village of Rieth in one of the individually designed quarters. The equipment of the overnight accomodation possibilities reaches from romantic simply to modern thought out, from the hayloft to the vacation house.

For the planned ride into the still unknown area map material can be lent on the Fennhof. Western riding trainer Eva Hafermalz has many a useful tip or will accompany you on your ride if you wish. This is especially interesting for horse and rider, because the soft sandy paths invite you to ride for hours in the nature. Besides many shorter tours, a ride to Altwarp to the beach is especially recommended as a day tour, because here you can ride through the water. Those planning a German-Polish round ride should be prepared to cross a pedestrian bridge, have a good sense of direction or make use of a ride guide. In warm weather, horse and rider can also find pleasant refreshment in the nearby Pferdeschwemme, a ford through the Teufelsgraben.

In addition to the fantastic riding opportunities, the Fennhof offers an outdoor riding arena and a round pen. The training of horse and rider takes place here under the motto: "Harmony between horse and rider can only be created where both speak the same language" For this to happen, the human must know how a horse learns. At the Fennhof you can learn what is important in keeping the horse in a species-appropriate manner, the correct handling of the horse as a partner and effective aids.

Children and inexperienced riders can be led directly from the farm with our ponies or horses into the countryside. Especially popular is the Ponyhof day, which children can spend without their parents at the Fennhof. Under expert guidance, the horses are cleaned, saddled and broken before we go together from the farm directly into the forest. Riding games and a farm rally round off the day. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy their day at leisure or take a trip to nearby Szczecin.
Also for non-riding family members the region around the Fennhof, the Riether-Winkel, has a lot to offer.Far away from any city noise you can still really "let your soul dangle" while with a little luck the white-tailed eagle passes by, the sun sets over the Neuwarper Lake or the perhaps most beautiful starry sky in the north can be marveled at.
Depending on the season you can find mushrooms, blueberries or even cranberries on long walks. Encounters with deer or a wild boar are not uncommon.
Through a well-organized bike rental there is also the possibility of a unique bike tour through the nature reserve past sparse pine forests and picturesque alder quarries, around and across the Neuwarper Lake. A cutter is available for the crossing to Germany or Poland.

Our Fennhof in the extreme northeast of Germany, between extensive forests, sun-flooded meadows, sparse moorland and the flair of the Baltic Sea, an insider tip.
A still hardly discovered Baltic Sea region where you can find peace, relax, pause and enjoy nature. Take a vacation with the family without having to give up your own horse or horseback riding.
