Duorecital
Born in Paraguay in 1995, grew up in Spain and finally moved to Japan, Michiaki Ueno is a real globetrotter at the Orangerie in Neustrelitz. In this architectural gem, which was designed by none other than Karl Friedrich Schinkel, the cellist, who has won awards including the renowned Tchaikovsky Competition, will perform together with his piano partner Tomoki Kitamura. The two will dedicate themselves to the music of the 19th century: the program includes works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Richard Strauss.
