Landpartie Exhibition Forum Ernst Barlach Foundation
"Young Elite": The platform for the stars of tomorrow! In individual concerts, young musicians compete for a place in the award-winning family and the audience gets the chance to get to know artists at the beginning of their careers.
Leonkoro is Esperanto and means lion heart. An unusual name for a string quartet! The brothers Jonathan and Lukas Schwarz chose it, alluding to the sibling story of the same name by Astrid Lindgren. After all, the violinist and cellist frame the line-up of their ensemble, which was founded in Berlin in 2019, with Amelie Wallner on second violin and Mayu Konoe on viola representing the middle voices. All four are passionate about music and have already won important awards with this passion. The exhibition forum at the studio house of the great artist Ernst Barlach in Güstrow provides a truly fitting setting for this passionate evening and can also be explored before the concert as part of a "Landpartie".
