A rabbit in a duster, a cow in a propeller and chickens dancing the polonaise - they are part of the cast presented by "Die Haase und Jazzebo". They take up the legendary GDR series Jazz-Lyrik-Prosa, rework classics with their own arrangements and present new text-music collages. The Jazzebo trio with Heiko Preller (drums), Sven Krengel (saxophone) and Bernhard Hotz (bass) plays cool, laid-back jazz. Petra Haase declaims her own and other people's texts and enters into a dialog with the musicians about the wild and beautiful life with all its facets. She quotes the tender verses as well as the roaring comrades - subtle, serious and funny. Jazzebo gives the poems and stories the right groove - to the delight of jazz fans and anyone who wants to be well entertained, as well as appreciating a little more than just that.
