They will be performed in unique arrangements for trumpet and orchestra. French musician Lucienne Renaudin Vary, who won the 2021 Opus Klassik as Young Artist of the Year, has been recruited for the jazzy solo part. The internationally sought-after musician will also play the virtuoso trumpet concerto by Armenian composer Alexander Arutjunjan, while dance scenes from Aaron Copland's Wild West ballet "Rodeo" will open the concert evening in an upbeat and cheerful manner. The finale is George Gershwin's famous orchestral piece "An American in Paris", in which the turbulent atmosphere of the French capital is musically recreated, including cab horns at various pitches.
