The autoharp is a 36-string folk instrument that was invented in Germany and was once called the folk zither. It sounds wonderfully full like two guitars and then again delicate like a zither. It has only become widespread in the USA. It is largely unknown in Germany.
Alexandre Zindel (*1971, studied singer and graduate musician) has worked as a singer and composer with the WDR Big Band, performed as a soloist and ensemble singer with the Bundesjazzorchester and the WDR Rundfunkorchester in Europe and South Africa. Further stations: Artist contracts with EMI and BMG (Mad Tea Party) - commissioned work for film, radio and industry - choral singing for international and national artists - television appearances - studio work for numerous CD productions and more than 70 concerts a year since 1995.
