"Summer song roundelay"

Songs, concerti and arias from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods Love songs and sacred arias interweave in this program to form a colourful round dance and express a wide range of human longings and devotional moods. Christian Volkmann, tenor, is active as a soloist and ensemble singer with numerous internationally acclaimed musicians on concert stages at home and abroad, he appears on various CD and radio recordings as well as at international festivals. In Mechow, he will be accompanied on the organ by Klaus Eichhorn, long-time professor at the Bremen University of the Arts and a frequent guest performer at the Mechow Summer Concerts.
