The end of Germany is an almost five-kilometer-long building with a sea view. Conceived by the Nazis to recuperate the Germans for the war, then one of the largest barracks of the NVA, it is now what it was always intended to be: a vacation paradise.
In the play "Self Care Strandbefehl", the theater collective fachbetrieb rita grechen explores the ambivalent history of the Prora seaside resort. Following the world premiere at the Festspielhaus Hellerau, the collective will be showing the adaptation of the play as an audio walk and inviting the audience to explore the original locations in Prora with them.
