Old and new come together at the Shepherd's Festival, where traditional shepherding on the dry grasslands of the Zicker mountains is combined with the production of modern functional clothing made from sheep's wool. From 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., visitors have the opportunity to experience the Roughwool Pomeranian sheep and other endangered domestic animal breeds up close. In addition to a large selection of wool, knitted and felted items, there will also be lamb sausages and cakes for visitors to enjoy. A hay bouncy castle and public sheep warping round off the offer.
