Sandcastle championship
Who will build the most spectacular sandcastle? High, wide, decorated or totally unusual.
Start of building: 9:10 a.m. | End of building: 10:15 a.m. | Award ceremony: approx. 10:45 a.m.
Visiting the event is free of charge with your UsedomCard (show it if required). Registration is required, limited number of participants! Register online via https://www.trassenheide.de/de/eventsn or via the tourist information office. We reserve the right to cancel the event if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, we will contact you in good time.

Note Parking spaces near the beach
There are sufficient bicycle racks available on site. If you arrive by car, you can park it in the Strandstraße/Dünenstraße parking lot for a fee. Please enter Dünenstraße 2 into the navigation system. The parking lot entrance is on the left side of the street. It is approx. 300 m to the main beach entrance.
The Festwiese and VOSTRA parking lots in front of the Trassenmoor train stop are also available as alternative parking spaces (for a fee). It is approx. 1 km to the main beach entrance.
Note Toilets near the beach
There are several public toilets on site (Strandstraße/on the beach promenade - beach access 9G), which can be used free of charge. The toilet building located directly on Strandstraße is equipped with a disabled toilet. A Euro key is required for this.
